UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Regional Float Pool, specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) to serve across our various locations in Colorado. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional patient care in our birth centers, offering a unique opportunity to work in multiple clinical environments, adapting to different teams and challenges. This position requires a professional who thrives in dynamic settings and is committed to supporting families during the birthing process, ensuring both maternal and infant health. Provide direct patient care to laboring mothers and support through the postpartum period Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team Quickly adapt to different clinical environments and protocols across UCHealth facilities Educate and support patients and families regarding childbirth and care post-delivery Maintain patient records and participate in health care team meetings to facilitate cohesive medical care Ensure all safety and infection control standards are adhered to Strong clinical skills in labor and delivery nursing Ability to adapt quickly to varying hospital settings and teams Proficiency in electronic health record systems Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado BLS/CPR certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification recommended
