Job Description:

Colorado, as a Travel RN specializing in Gastrointestinal (GI)
Pre/Post procedures. This role focuses on providing top-tier
patient care in preoperative and postoperative settings for GI
procedures. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple
state-of-the-art facilities, engaging closely with patients and

health and wellbeing of all. Assess patient condition before and
after GI procedures, administering care and necessary treatments.
Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms, adjusting care plans as
needed. Educate patients and families on procedure details,
post-procedure care, and any necessary dietary guidelines. Work
collaboratively with gastroenterologists, anesthesiologists, and
other medical staff. Document all care information concisely,
accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate
format, and on the appropriate forms. Prepare patients physically
and emotionally for procedures, ensuring informed consent. Maintain
patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with all
applicable laws and regulations. Proficiency in IV insertion and
PICC line management. Strong knowledge of gastroenterology, patient
care techniques, and aseptic procedures. Ability to operate GI
diagnostic equipment, including endoscopes. Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of
Colorado. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association. Certified
Gastroenterology Registered Nurse (CGRN) certification is highly
desirable.
