the Opportunity? Anchor QEA is seeking a full-time, junior-level
geologist/geochemist for our Denver, Colorado office. The ideal
candidate will have 2 years of experience supporting environmental
remediation projects, including coal combustion residual (CCR)
sites. Responsibilities will include site investigation (both field
implementation and office-based planning) and environmental data
analysis. The successful applicant will have a demonstrated track
record of excellence in verbal and written communications with a
variety of technical and non-technical audiences. We are looking
for a candidate with a strong background in geology and/or
geochemistry, who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and capable
of professional growth within a collaborative consulting
environment. The position requires the ability to work as part of a
team in a fast-paced setting, with enthusiasm for environmental
work and a strong commitment to health and safety, technical
excellence, and client service. Responsibilities: Plan and
participate in field programs to collect water, sediment, and soils
data to support site investigations, including programs focused on
geochemical data collection Read, understand, and abide by Health
and Safety Plans and contribute to a culture of safety Prepare
and/or oversee analytical data analysis, including geochemical data
analysis Author technical documents such as sampling and analysis
plans, health and safety plans, remedial investigations, scopes of
work, and reports. Communicate with other project team members
including internal staff and external partners (e.g., laboratories,
subcontractors, teaming partners). Follow Anchor QEA policies and
procedures including, but not limited to, environmental health and
safety, quality assurance, and quality control Travel to support
projects and field work up to 25% of time. What Are We Looking For?
Ideal candidates will have the following: Knowledge of geochemistry
Masters degree in geology, geochemistry, or a related program 2
years of experience in environmental consulting Familiarity with
geochemical modeling and data analysis Knowledge of regulations
related to CCR Strong technical writing Experience planning and
executing field programs (e.g., overseeing drillers, logging soil,
collecting soil and water samples) A willingness to work on a
variety of tasks Ability to work independently and as part of a
team Ability to travel and work on job sites Ability to handle
multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines Excellent
written and oral communication skills 40-hour HAZWOPER
certification, or willingness to be trained. Familiarity with
Python, R, or other coding language for data manipulation,
processing, analysis, and visualization Proficient in Microsoft
Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other common office software

Salary Range: $89,610 - $101,000 Annual Bonus Other potential bonus
types: Billable Time Bonus, Spot Bonus, Milestone Anniversary
Bonus, Receiving Professional License/Certification Bonus,
Peer-reviewed Publication Bonus, Employee Referral Bonus. Base
Level Benefits for Regular Full-Time Positions: Healthcare:
