The

Telesales Regional Sales Manager is responsible for providing leadership and overall

direction to a newly assembled team of inside sales professionals toward

meeting company objectives in the areas of new sales revenue and market

penetration.
Accountabilities
1.

Meet

or exceed monthly and annual sales goals.

2.

Determine

the long & short-term goals for the sales center

3.

Collaborate

with Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing and Product teams to optimize

utilization of resources

4.

Attract,

recruit, and retain top talent. Motivate and lead a high-performance sales team

5.

Develop

key contacts and business relationships with members of the business unit and

key support providers within the LexisNexis organization.

6.

Develop,

Coach & Mentor sales professionals

7.

Define

measurable expectations of each role within the branch. Evaluate performance

against expectations of all staff.

8.

Develop

and deliver an effective sales plans, including accurate revenue forecasts.

9.

Provide

leadership and management to ensure adoption and practice of the Reed Elsevier/Lexis

Nexis core values.

10.

Utilize

and reinforce all required sales processes, tools and systems.

Qualifications
1.

Bachelor's

degree or equivalent experience

2.

7

years of demonstrated successful sales experience preferably in a complex

solution or B2B environment 3 or more years of proven sales leadership and

management experience

3.

Strong

leadership and teambuilding skills

4.

Ability

to work cooperatively in a team environment and across the organization to

achieve group and organizational goals

5.

Understanding

in technology including CRM and other sales enablement tools

6.

Strong

time management, organizational and forecasting skills

7.

Strong

oral, written communication, and presentation skills

8.

Solid

negotiation skills and the ability to network effectively internally and

externally

9.

Requires

some overnight travel
