Job Description:
Ready to own and scale the North American revenue engine for a
global leader in enterprise safety technology? CriticalArc is
seeking a disciplined, strategic Senior Sales Director to lead our
next phase of growth in the higher education market. CriticalArc
CriticalArc is a global leader in SaaS enterprise safety
technology, partnering with universities and healthcare
organizations to improve safety, response coordination, and
community confidence. Our SafeZone platform supports campus police,
security, risk management, and executive leadership teams in
building safer, more responsive environments. We are entering our
next growth phase in North America and are seeking an experienced
higher education sales leader to scale and mature out SaaS
enterprise go-to-market plan. This role requires deep experience
selling into colleges and universities, along with a proven track
record of leading enterprise sales teams and personally closing
complex, multi-stakeholder deals. What You Will Do You will own and
deliver the North American Higher Education revenue target and lead
the entire commercial revenue engine across Enterprise Sales,
SDR/BDR, and EDU consultancy. This role blends strategic leadership
direct, hands-on enterprise selling. You will bring structure,
forecasting discipline, and accountability to the sales
organization while actively engaging in high-value deals and
representing CriticalArc across the higher education ecosystem.
Responsibilities: Own and deliver the North American Higher
Education revenue target Lead and develop a geographically
dispersed enterprise sales team Scale and strengthen the SDR/BDR
pipeline generation function Align the EDU Consultancy team to
support revenue growth and account expansion Implement and operate
a structured enterprise sales methodology (e.g., MEDDPICC) Drive
disciplined forecasting, CRM hygiene (HubSpot), and KPI
accountability Partner with Marketing on go-to-market strategy and
market expansion Represent CriticalArc at key higher education
associations and industry forums Support and guide complex,
multi-stakeholder enterprise deals Who You Are You are a
structured, data-driven enterprise sales leader with direct
experience selling into higher education institutions. You
understand the university buying environment, procurement cycles,
and multi-stakeholder decision-making processes. You are equally
comfortable setting strategy, coaching teams and personally
advancing and closing complex enterprise opportunities. You have
successfully led distributed enterprise sales while remaining
actively involved in high-value deals. You create scalable,
repeatable sales processes, implement structured methodologies, and
have a consistent track record of achieving revenue goals.
Qualifications: Demonstrated experience selling directly into
Higher Education institutions (required 10 years of enterprise SaaS
or B2B technology sales experience 5 years leading enterprise sales
teams, including geographically dispersed teams Experience building
and managing SDR/BDR pipeline engines Proven track record of owning
and delivering enterprise revenue targets Experience introducing
structured sales methodology and forecasting discipline Experience
partnering closely with Marketing on go-to-market execution Highly
desirable: experience selling into Higher Education campus safety,
or security technology sectors Benefits Base salary $180K - $220K.
