Job Ad Template OU.LOCATIONSummary:Under limited supervision, the Burn-In Engineering Technicianperforms a variety of routine to complex duties in support of themanufacturing and development of integrated circuits (IC). These activities include burn-in hardware development, validation,and maintenance, burn-in software development, and productionsupport.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:On a daily basis the Burn-In Engineering Technician will beresponsible for:Providing technical support to the engineering staff.Provide technical and production support for burn-inoperations.Develop, document, and maintain burn-in hardware and software.Development and maintenance of documentation includingspecifications, procedures, forms, and training material.Resolve burn-in problems and issues.Track and report data.Assist with process improvements and product developmentactivitiesSupport, mentor and train manufacturing operations staffOther Duties and Responsibilities:Works effectively with internal and external customers.Communicates effectively and professionally with peers,customers, and management in verbal and writtenforms. Works with customers as needed to answer questions or resolveprocess related issues in a timely manner.Process improvement projectsSupport the definition, execution, support, and implementationof continuous improvement activities both as self-containedgroup activities and in conjunction with the ContinuousImprovement Team.Education & Experience Requirements:An Associate's Degree (ASEET) from a two year college ortechnical school or equivalent experience. Applicable experience and/or training in semiconductor test orburn-in is preferred.Security:All applicants must be a U.S Citizen or U.S Person as defined byITAR (a lawful permanent resident or someone who is a protectedindividual as defined by 8 U.S.C.1324b(a)(3)).
