We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Role and Responsibilities

Accurately prepare shipments according to strict packaging/shipping requirements
Packs, unpacks, loads, unloads, and inspects shipments
Verifies and maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies
Work with other departments to track various aspects of product
Reports defective material or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area
Assist with additional projects when needed

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Ability to read and interpret purchase orders/packing slips preferred
Five years of computer and spreadsheet experience preferred.

Employees are regularly exposed to vibration, moderate noise levels, and occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. Employees must be able to stand for extended periods of time while frequently using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls to climb or balance. The employee is frequently required to walk, reach with hands, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk or hear. Employees must be able to see up close, use peripheral vision, depth perception and adjust focus. Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Will frequently and repetitively be required to lift 50 lbs.
