Our client, a local General Contractor with a great reputation, is Seeking an experienced -Construction Estimator -to join the team.This is an amazing opportunity for candidates who are looking to take the next step in their career with a reputable company that values employee growth.Estimator Responsibilities:- Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects.- Obtain and compare quotes for labor, equipment, and materials from subcontractors and suppliers.- Prepare and submit project bids and proposals.- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure successful project completion.- Maintain accurate estimating records and provide ongoing analysis to improve project performance.Estimator Job Functions:- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.- Understanding of construction methods and materials.- Strong communication and negotiation skills.- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction estimating software.Estimator Skills:- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.- 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.The -Construction Estimator -position offers a salary range of $80,000 - $125,000, as well as benefits including medical coverage and a 401(k) plan.To learn more about this exciting opportunity, please contact us at pamela.venable@gogpac.com or605-705-32All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
