**_Goodwill of Colorado has an exciting opportunity to learn skills in the growing E-Commerce industry! This position works to shelve items once they are listed and pulling and processing orders for our growing on-line auction group. Previous shipping experience is not required but is a plus! Our Shipping Associates will also assist with Customer Service and Customer Pick-ups and excellent customer service skills are a must! As our Goodwill grows, advancement opportunities may become available for the right candidate. If you have a clerical background or are someone interested in learning skills in the growing e-commerce industry, this may be the position for you!!_**
**_This position will require standing for the majority of the shift._**
**_Various schedules are available. Shifts could start as early as 7 am and go as late as 8:30 pm Monday through Friday and start as early as 7 am and go as late as 3:30 pm Saturdays and Sundays. Make sure you tell us about your availability! (We can be flexible if you can be consistent.)_**

**OBJECTIVE:**
The E-Commerce Shipping Associate will work in a fast paced production type of environment and will be responsible for pulling and processing orders including shipping merchandise utilizing proper shipping standards for each shipping carrier while adhering to daily quotas or goals. The Shipping Associate will respond to customer questions and concerns providing excellent customer service displaying an Attitude of Gratitude in order to support the mission of the organization. The Shipping Associate will maintain up-to-date website knowledge of ShopGoodwill.com (our E-Commerce website) and provide record keeping services including tracking packages online and processing shipping and packaging reports.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
Identify and pull items for daily shipping utilizing proper shipping methods for packaging merchandise and processing through automated computer systems provided while meeting or exceeding daily shipping goals.
Maintain up to date website knowledge of ShopGoodwill.com and E-books sites including tracking records on shipped and/or picked up items and monitoring website daily for shipping count.
Process daily shipping reports and packing slips.
Ensure that customer questions and concerns are answered in a timely and effective manner, including helping customers navigate tracking websites as needed and following through on UPS or USPS tracking as needed.
Act as front-line Associate for customers picking up their local orders.
Coordinate customer refunds as needed.
Provide a clean and organized work area to promote a safe environment for employees and customers.
Cross-train in other E-Commerce areas and act as a back-up for other areas as required.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One year retail experience as well as experience in administrative functions and general auction operations preferred.
Six months prior shipping experience preferred.
Able to organize, sort, categorize, count, add, and subtract. Ability to understand and interpret data. Must possess strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Knowledgeable in Internet and Microsoft Excel preferred.
Able to communicate effectively with customers, managers, supervisors, staff and peers through verbal and electronic means.
Able to withstand prolonged standing.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to work occasional overtime, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
