Position Description:
Forklift Operators are responsible for forklift inspection,
maintenance, and operation including picking, loading, moving, and
unloading jobsite supplies and materials.
Position Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
A valid forklift operator certification.
Valid Driver's License.
Follow safe work practices in accordance with the Hensel Phelps
safety and health program.
Experience with forklift operations.
Knowledge of forklift maintenance.
Must be able to take initiative and ask questions.
Possess a keen attention to detail and be able to follow
instructions.
Workers must provide their own safety footwear.
Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with
co-workers and stakeholders.
Must be reliable and punctual. This includes having reliable
transportation and consistent work attendance.
Preferred Qualifications:
OSHA 10 Certification.
CPR & First Aid Certification.
Essential Duties:
Operate forklift by picking, loading, moving, and unloading jobsite
supplies and materials.
Continuously monitor the condition of the equipment to ensure it's
operationally ready at all times.
Perform maintenance work on equipment such as lubricating, fueling,
and cleaning.
Inspect and document service on forklift.
Follow and comply with all safety policies.
Promote a safe work environment and communicates jobsite
hazards.
