Maintenance -Crew Lead/ ForemanSupervises:N/AJob purpose:The
Landscape maintenance tech is responsible to represent Fisk
Lawnscapes to our landscape customers, performing landscape tasks
knowledgably and efficiently, while upholding the core values of
Fisk Lawnscapes. Project timelines must be met AND the projects
installations must reflect our highest standards of quality.
Physical labor is required for this position.Duties &
responsibilities:Maintenance Tech 1
- Has a friendly demeanor
- Has read Raving Fans by Kenneth Blanchard
- Works hard and diligently throughout the day
- Learns new tasks quickly
- Always meets dress code requirements
- Shows up on job site always on time Maintenance Tech 2
- Meets all Maintenance Tech 1 requirements
- Minimum of 2 months maintenance experience
- Shows diligence and initiative throughout the day.
- Maintains quality work
- Attentive to surroundings, work, customers, and co-workers
- Cheerfully and regularly greets customers
- Proficiently operates basic power tools- trimmers, mowers,
edgers, blowers
- Practices good tool management including care and storage
- Shows up at a job and does not need direction to complete the
services
- Knows all of the properties (Owners, boundaries, services, and
schedules, etc.) Maintenance Crew Lead / Foreman Candidate
- Meets all Maintenance Tech 1 and 2 requirements
- Has 1 season of experience with Fisk or Equivalent
- Passes Fisk Pesticide Application Qualification (as
applicable)
- Passes Fisk Truck and Trailer Certification
- Passes Fisk Irrigation System Qualification
- Passes Fisk Equipment Maintenance Qualification
- Passes Fisk Basic Landscape Installation Qualification (Sod,
Rock, Mulch)
- Passes Fisk Basic Troubleshooting Qualification and ID (Turf,
Plant, & Weed)
- Passes ALCC or similar certification
- Receives Foreman Approval
- Willing and able to run the crew when foreman is absent and
understands how the flow of the job should go
- Willing and able to teach new crew members various tasks
- Takes ownership of maintenance projects going above and beyond
for clients Specific Job Details:
- A commitment to full working hours (40-50 hrs/week) throughout
the -season (April-October) is required for this position.
- Potential for work during the winter as snow shoveler, skid/ATV
driver, or plow truck driver.
- The Landscape maintenance tech position is allowed 6
non-consecutive working days off (48 working hours) during the
April-October season. These days are not paid.
