Northrup Grumman Innovation Systems, Space Systems Group -
Integrated Operations Directorate is looking for an experienced
Mission Operations Trainer to join the Training Department to
develop and deliver operations training curriculum to Government
Customers. As a trainer, the selected candidate will be required to
deliver instruction and domain expertise to support virtual
live-fly mission exercises and training events for the customer and
internal operations personnel. Other responsibilities include
working with the program Technical Lead to refine existing scenario
presentation and develop new operationally relevant scenarios. The
MO/OA Trainer will also work with mission operations personnel to
ensure training curriculum and scenarios accurately represent
current operational documentation used during on-orbit checkout and
commissioning of satellites as well as during execution of primary
mission(s). The MO/OA Trainer may also support system development
activities such as requirements management, architecture
development, integration and test and formal program milestones.
This position requires extensive experience planning Rendezvous and
Proximity Operations, and will be responsible for creating and
delivering Orbit Analysis and mission planning training to internal
and external trainees. S/he will also be required to interface with
program and customer personnel regularly.
Product deliveries include: Flight Profiles, PowerPoint
Presentations, Scenarios, Student Guides, Desired Learning
Objectives, and other material as necessary to support contractual
training requirements.
Must work collaboratively in a team environment across engineering
disciplines to accomplish mission goals. Must excel in a fast-paced
mission focused environment. Must be able to meet rapid development
timelines.

Basic Q ualifications:
Salary Range 2: $114,300 USD - $171,500 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
