Position Description:The Technical Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for the conduction of end to end systems functional and performance testing of all new and modified systems prior to production launch. The TQA analyst will work with QA resources in Solutions and Risk to ensure all testing is comprehensive in nature. Additionally, the TQA analyst will assist in driving security assurance with the Information Technology Team.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:System Quality Assurance:Guides in developing and execution of test plans and reports issues for resolutionAssists in the creation and implementation of new quality assurance processes, guidelines, and toolsAssist in initiatives for automation of test cases.Assists in the establishment of standards for development, review and execution of test plans and test cases that ensure the product quality.Assists in the development of innovative processes, communications, metrics, and accountabilities that result in process improvements.Assists in developing more predictive and intelligent testing approaches on automation and innovative testing products and solutions.Security Assurance:Participates in the oversight of Vulnerability Management and Compliance programs within Information TechnologyCreates metrics and reports that are meaningful, accurate and timely.Subject Matter Expert:Increase team effectiveness by providing consulting expertise and technical mentoring across multiple verticals.Other duties as requiredMinimum formal education required for this position:Knowledge consistent with a Bachelor---s degree in Computer Science, Information Management or similar.Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of ---Knowledge Consistent with a Bachelor---s Degree in Accounting and 2 years--- of accounting experience--- could be substituted for a High School Diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a Master---s Degree in Accounting and 0 years of work experience. Minimum work experience:8 years--- relevant experience in an IT role to include 2 years in a Technical Quality Assurance role.(Preferred) 1 years--- experience with a financial institution.Technical or specialized knowledge/skills:Exposure to Automation Tools (Selenium, Katalon Studio, UFT and Tricentis Tosca), Scripting Languages and Test Management Tools (JIRA, Rally and ALM).Process-oriented mindset and high degree of familiarity with modern test technologies and tools. Must have experience in leading test automation initiatives.Ability to contribute at all levels of testing including unit, functional, automation, performance, and scalability testing; be able to step in and provide leadership in test design and implementation.Experience working with or within ITIL, DevOps, SRE, and Agile methodologies.Strong data drive mindset leveraging metrics to make data-based decisions.Strong written and oral communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.Strong project management skills and attention to detail.Exemplary customer service skills.Root-cause problem solving mindset.Ability to coordinate work across multiple vendors.Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word/Excel/Outlook).Certifications required:NoneEnvironmental, physical and psychological requirements: Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time in a climate controlled environment. Must be able to use fingers, hands, wrists for repetitive tasks such as typing, using a mouse, handling paper, currency, or coin, and operating a telephone. Demands for visual and auditory acuity are typical of an office environment. Must be able to interact via email, telephone, or in person with diplomacy, tact, and courtesy with all members under varying circumstances.
