Brief DescriptionLinQuest is seeking a Senior Satellite Communication Terminal System Operations Analyst to join our team at our office in Colorado Springs. The candidate will work with the Headquarters Air Force Space Command in the area of satellite communications (SATCOM). The work requires a comprehensive knowledge of satellite communication systems, satellite transmissions management, satellite system control, and operational procedures in order to support Air Force Space Command---s Military and Commercial satellite communications systems.--Responsibilities: Support the Government Terminals Requirements Determine operational impacts of current and future MILSATCOM and/or Commercial SATCOM terminal needs Ensure overall program requirements meet operational relevance Support the Government Terminal Lead developing terminal requirements Ensure overall terminal program requirements meet operational relevance RequirementsRequired Skills: Able to work with, and appropriately protect, classified and proprietary information Methodical mindset: Able to follow troubleshooting protocols, solve problems and clearly document the solutions for others Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook Able to work as team player on a mixed contractor-government team Unflappable demeanor (keeps their cool under pressure) Strong people skills, especially patience and a calm voice Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills (position requires direct contact with senior Air Force and DOD leadership) Preferred Skills: Previous MAJCOM Experience Previous MILSATCOM and/or Commercial SATCOM Terminal experience Required Experience: Bachelor---s degree US Citizenship and an active Secret Clearance, with eligibility to eventually obtain a TS/SCI is required to be considered for this position. 5+ years understanding of satellite communications and terminal systems is required -- Preferred Experience: Top Secret/SCI desired BA, BS, or MS degree in engineering, science, or similar technical filed Previous MAJCOM experience Prior experience in the management of terminal programs or test events is preferred Basic understanding of satellite communications and terminal systems is required 5 years--- experience in operational SATCOM systems and identifying operational deficiencies Previous MILSATCOM terminal experience Previous DISA, Commercial SATCOM, NOC, or RSSC experience -- --We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, we are committed to providing a work environment that values and respects each Team Member as an individual and important member of our culturally diverse organization.
