Job Ad Template OU.LOCATION SUMMARY: The Process Planner will create and maintain Engineering Mastersand detailed work instructions by analyzing drawings, parts lists,specifications, processes and other documentation provided byexternal customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work closely with Engineering, Quality and Scheduling tocreate and maintain detailed work instructions (EngineeringMasters) using Visual Manufacturing, Corel Draw and MicrosoftOffice programs. Analyze prints, parts lists, wire lists and various customersupplied and internal specifications as well as other uniquedocumentation. Determine the proper product flow for manufacturability atCobham and document these steps for use on the manufacturingfloor.Incorporate current Cobham processes and procedures as theyrelate to the customer build requirements.Provide operation sheets utilizing imported drawings, altereddrawing views and creating new graphics to aid in theconstruction of step by step work instructions. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintaining Engineering Master Packages for historicalreference and future builds.Provide and maintain reference drawings and parts lists forthe manufacturing floor.Make redline changes to released travelers on the floor.Import Operation Sheets in document control system.Provide back-up support for Engineering Documentation Controlas needed.Maintain Engineering Master Schedule spreadsheet.Support manufacturing/engineering focus groups as needed.EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or GED equivalent is required. An Associate's Degree (AS) or equivalent from a two-yearcollege or technical school and four or more years of relatedwork experience and/or training is preferred.COMPUTER SKILLS: The CCA Process Planner must be proficient in the use of thefollowing: Corel Draw Visual Manufacturing (ERP) and Business Planning System (BPS)Access and navigate through Centra (document storage system)Microsoft Office softwareMicro-station Computer Aided Design (CAD) Security: All applicants must be a U.S Citizen or U.S Person as defined byITAR (a lawful permanent resident or someone who is a protectedindividual as defined by 8 U.S.C.1324b(a)(3)). In order to beeligible for positions requiring a Security Clearance, you must be aUS Citizen.
