Principal / Sr Principal Software Test Engineer - 10445-1 /
12553-1. This position will be located in Roy, Utah or Colorado
Springs, CO and will support the Sentinel program. What You'll Get
To Do: Responsible for development and execution of automated and
manual test cases to verify functional software requirements.This
will include the following activities:--- Assist in the design,
development, and implementation of testing methods and
equipment.--- Test planning, execution, reporting, and integration
support.--- Prepare detailed test reports and support formal
verification of the system.--- Compile data and define changes
required in test equipment, test procedures, or new test
requirements.--- Perform data analysis against requirements and
interfaces for each software build or hardware component.---
Interface with software developers and systems engineers in support
of verification.--- Product integration, regression, and
verification testing including checkout in system test labs. -

9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day
Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. - This role
may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. Basic
Qualifications:
- Principal Software Test Engineer: Bachelor's degree with 5
years of experience; or Master's degree with 3 years of experience;
or PhD with 1 year of experience. 4 additional years of experience
may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Sr Principal Software Test Engineer: Bachelor's degree with 8
years of experience; or Master's degree with 6 years of experience;
or PhD with 4 years of experience. 4 additional years of experience
may be substituted in lieu of a degree.Required for Both Levels:
- Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with
an investigation date within the last 6 years at time of
application
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Program
(SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by
the company to meet its business needs
- Experience with Java, C++, and or Python
- Experience working Software Test, SW Development and/or Systems
Engineering
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile
development methodologyPreferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Technology,
Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)
- Experience with IBM Rational tool suite (DOORS and Jazz)
- Experience with Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Git,
Confluence)
- Experience using software test automation

$150,500Salary Range 2: $118,600 - $187,300The above salary range
represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers
a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the
scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's
experience, education, skills and current market
conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for
overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition
to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage,
life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays
