contract award Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Modeling
and Simulation Systems Engineer/Principal Modeling and Simulation
Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse
individuals. The qualified applicant will support a growing
portfolio of programs and IRADs that focus on missile defense,
space, and intelligence and will support various modeling,
simulation, and analysis (MS&A) project teams in evaluating the
mission performance of military systems. Domestic travel (up to
10%) may be required, dependent on program needs. This position
will specifically focus on the development and analysis of models
and simulations utilizing the Advanced Framework for Simulation,
Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM) Framework. Basic Qualifications
(Modeling and Simulation Systems Engineer)
- Bachelor of Science in a STEM field and 2 years of related
experience OR Master of Science in a STEM field and 0 years of
related experience
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Experience using Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A)
to inform the development of systems along the left side of the
"Systems Engineering Vee"
- Experience using Python, MATLAB, SQL, or related technologies
to interpret complex data sets
- Experience reading and interpreting systems engineering models
using the Systems Modeling Language (SysML)
- Comfortable communicating technical information to technical
and non-technical customers
- Experience mentoring and developing junior-level engineers
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team
setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skillsBasic

experience OR Master of Science in a STEM field and 3 years of
related experience
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Experience using Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A)

"systems engineering vee"
- Experience using Python, MATLAB, SQL, or related technologies
to interpret complex data sets
- Experience reading and interpreting systems engineering models

- Ability to support development of systems engineering models
utilizing SysML and Cameo
- Experience using agile development methodologies
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Graduate
Certificate
- INCOSE ASEP (or above) certification
- Object Modeling Group (OMG) Certified Systems Modeling

$100,300 - $150,500The above salary range represents a general
guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors
when determining base salary offers such as the scope and
responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience,
education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the
position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift
differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability
insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off
