Launch and Missile Defense Systems has two exciting career
opportunities for a Sr. Principal Software Engineer - SW CI/CD
Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. These
positions will be located in Colorado Springs, CO. Position
Overview: The Command and Control, Battle Management, and
Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense
System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S.
president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at
strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan
ballistic missile defense operations, to see the battle develop
collectively, and to dynamically manage designated networked
sensors and weapons systems to achieve global and regional mission
objectives. C2BMC supports a layered missile defense capability
that enables an optimized response to threats of all ranges in all
phases of flight. C2BMC is the force multiplier that globally and
regionally networks integrate, synchronizing autonomous sensor and
weapon systems and operations to optimize performance. C2BMC is
integral to all system ground and flight tests, which verify and
exercise all current and future missile defense system
capabilities. As a -member of the Regional Applications Agile
Release Train (RA ART) of the Missile Defense National Team for
Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC)
(aka C2BMC NT), this position will be responsible for working
across the ART to implement and maintain a standardized CI/CD
pipeline for use by all of the Product Teams within the RA ART,
across two development sites. The applicant must work closely with
the Cyber and Platforms ART to ensure that the tools and
applications within the pipeline are maintained and conform to
security and other requirements. The applicant will need to present
regular updates on the status of the pipeline and work to resolve
any issues. Essential Functions:
- Work within classified environments to implement CI/CD
pipelines to support multiple SW releases and build versions.
- Work with multiple disciplinary teams, especially Systems
Admins, IT, and Security.
- Infrequent travel between Huntsville and Colorado development
facilities may be required.Basic Qualifications: Please note your
updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your
resume, if applicable.
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering
or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university
and -8 years of related experience, or a Master's degree in a STEM
discipline and 6 years of experience, or a PhD and 4 years of
experience, or 12 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
may be considered.
- Applicants must have a current active in-scope DoD issued
secret security clearance at the time of application which is
required to start.
- DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+,
GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA) is required to
start.

#C2BMCSalary Range: $124,900 - $187,300The above salary range
represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers
a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the
scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's
experience, education, skills and current market
conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for
overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition
to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage,
life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays
