Job Description**Hybrid Opportunity Available**ENSCO Inc is a
diverse engineering and technology company that provides

private industries worldwide.Rapid Resilient Command and Control
(R2C2), will develop, integrate, and demonstrate capabilities for
an end-to-end satellite operations ground system. The R2C2 program
will develop a next-generation ground system built on a commercial
cloud architecture, as outlined by SpRCO. The task orders under the
IDIQ will be for software tools and infrastructure to allow Space
Force operators to reposition satellites or conduct other
operations in a more agile way than is currently done. A series of
task orders with a total value of $1 billion will be competed
amongst the winners for the next five years with two option years.
The first task order, DO1, awarded with a start date of September
1, focuses on knowledge transfer for each of the small businesses.
We are seeking a Solutions Architect with experience in ground
systems, rapid prototyping, cloud based architectures, software,
and cybersecurity to join the R2C2 contract supporting the SpRCO
government team.Duties include:
- Providing systems engineering and integration technical support
for satellite communications network systems including Telemetry,
Tracking & Control (TT&C), scheduling, communications, and
associated systems.
- Perform engineering of system architectures, requirements
analysis and decomposition, including system performance test and
verification.
- Analyze user needs and requirements to plan architecture.
- Review and assess contractor designs and conduct trade studies
on alternative system design approaches.
- Support development of and review all levels of planning
guidance in support of cyber operations.
- Support planning in system of systems engineering, integrating
networks, databases, and software.
- Interface with critical government leadership.
- Program Management experience with roadmap development, process
implementation, and establish visions with the government
team.
- Assist team in development of on premise and off premise
solutions for software based ground system interfaces.
- Develop approaches for antenna as a service architectures.
Qualifications Required (Skills)
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity,
Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, or relevant
Engineering degree and minimum 10 years of relevant
experience.
- Knowledge of risk management processes.
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and
network security methodologies.
- Knowledge of data aggregation, distributed system of system
architectures.
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and
network security methodologies.
- Knowledge of ground system architectures to include DoD,
Federal, and Commercial.
- Knowledge of information technology (IT) security principles
and methods (e.g., firewalls, demilitarized zones,
encryption).
- Knowledge of software engineering
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and methods that apply to
software development.
- Ability to implement Zero Trust security in DoD
Systems/Software
- AN ACTIVE DOD TS/SCI SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS
POSITION FOR WHICH, YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZENQualifications
Desired
- Master's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data
Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, or relevant
Engineering degree
- Working knowledge of the Satellite Control Network (SCN) or
similar DoD program.
- Working knowledge of Federal and Commercial ground
systems.
- Working knowledge of how to establish service level agreements
between NASA or Commercial ground system providers and the
DoD.
- Security+, CISSP, CCNA or similar relevant certification
