Overview: Olgoonik Corporation is a robust worldwide federal
contractor company that is recruiting for a Facility Security
Officer (FSO) based out of the Colorado Springs Office. Position is
responsible for all assigned CONUS and OCONUS corporate and
government security programs and companies assigned by the Vice
President of Corporate Security/IT. This includes all aspects of
corporate, physical, technical, personnel, administrative, and
computer security associated with both collateral, Sensitive
Compartmented Information and corporate IT activities within the
organization. Primary Responsibilities:
- Processes personnel security clearances
- Conducts security education and training
- Prepares visit requests
- Maintains accountability of classified documents
- Implements and manages physical security measures at various
work locations both CONUS and OCONUS
- Responsible for data security processes
- Develops and implements Information Security plans, policies,
and procedures
- Conducts RFP reviews to include DD254 reviews
- Prepares/updates accreditation and certification packages
- Completes classification reviews
- Investigates security incidents
- Liaisons with US government counterparts and internal
clients
- Manages security programs and security staff, as assigned
- Conducts annual, initial and all required security
training
- Active member of the Insider Threat and Crisis Management
Teams
- Perform on site IT activities as directed by the Director of
IT, or VP
- Performs other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities:
No Supervisor Responsibilities Education and/or Experience:
- Must have a high school diploma
- Minimum of three years' experience in the Industrial Security
Field performing duties as a security specialist, A/FSO, FSO, ISSO.
Experience as a Facility Security Officer and experience in the
Intelligence Community is preferred
- Must have solid knowledge of industrial security management
policies and procedures, requirements and practices;
- Must possess working knowledge of personnel security functions
and a thorough understanding of NISPOM, 32CFR Part 117, SEAD 3,
CUI, NIST, CMMC, SCI, NISS, DISS
- General knowledge of government procurement protocol and
procedures is preferred
- Must have knowledge of security issues related to information
technology systems.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and
oral communication skills.
- Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work
effectively under a minimum of supervision.
- Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced
environment on multiple projects, and have a strong attention for
detail.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Software
- Must demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a
member of a team
- Must have the ability to handle classified and confidential
information Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must possess
certification as a Facility Security Officer from Defense
Counterintelligence and Security Agency for Possessing Facilities
as well as Non-Possessing Facilities. Security Clearance: Minimum
of SECRET PCL required but must be able to obtain/maintain TS/SCI
Clearance Must have a current US Government TOP SECRET Personnel
Security ClearanceMust have or be able to obtain a US Government
DOE "Q" and "L" ClearanceMust be a U.S. Citizen.Must be eligible
for and able to obtain and maintain required Security
Clearance/access approvals. Physical Demands: The physical demands
