applicants for positions on the Sustainment and Modernization of
Radar Sensors (SMORS) program as a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer.
These positions will focus on Agile lifecycle development and
Sustainment activities for the Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack
Characterization System (PARCS).This position will be located in
Colorado Springs, CO.Job responsibilities will include, but not be
limited to, the following:Support the PARCS agile development teams
focused on DEVSECOPS solutionsSupport management of Technical
baseline documentationSupport the development of system design
solutions in accordance with project technical, schedule and cost
constraintsParticipating, preparing and executing comprehensive
system/element level test plans and proceduresCollaboration with
technical management and customer representatives on project
objectivesProvide guidance and mentorship to junior level Systems
EngineersReviewing system engineering documentation to ensure test
plans and methodologies meet system needs and are accurate,
comprehensive, consistent and completeSupporting the development of
system integration plans, procedures and scenarios used in the
conduct of software/hardware system integration
testingParticipating in engineering peer reviews as a document
originator or reviewer to ensure technical quality and engineering
rigor is appropriateParticipating in project technical risk
analysis and mitigationThe successful candidate will have the
ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced, team-oriented
environment. They will be a self-starter and efficient in achieving
goals and proactive in pursuing subsequent tasks. Up to 10% travel
may be required.Basic Qualifications9 Years of systems engineering
experience with a Bachelor's - STEM; 7 Years of systems engineering
experience with a Master's - STEM; 4 Years of systems engineering
experience with a PhD - STEM. (STEM degree is required to be
considered**)Must have Secret level security clearance or higher to
be considered** (US Citizenship is required**)Systems Engineering
leadership including Project architecture, Requirements development
and management, Process management and improvement, Design
integration and test planningFamiliarity and/or experience with
DOORS requirements management toolFamiliarity and/or experience
with Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) theory and
toolsExperience with automated testing techniques and
toolsTechnical documentation and analysis experienceExperience in
Agile development processes, preferably Kanban and/or
ScrumFamiliarity and/or experience with Scaled Agile Framework
(SAFe) development processesPreferred QualificationsINCOSE
CertificationActive or Interim DoD Secret clearance is highly
preferredFamiliarity and/or experience with real-time operating
systemsFamiliarity and/or experience with emulation/virtualization
technologiesFamiliarity with ground-based radars, familiarity with
phased array radars - Ideally with Ballistic Missile Early Warning
System (BMEWS), PAVE Phased Array Warning System (PAVE PAWS), and
the Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System
(PARCS) systems.Experience using test automation tools and writing
basic test scripts using Java or python programming
languagesExperience in Linux scripting using bash or python
languagesThis position's standard work schedule is a 40 hour work

$117,900 USD - $176,900 USDEmployees may be eligible for a
discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are
designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow
