Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Mid Space System
Engineer to join our team! In this role you will work with Parsons
colleagues to develop and rapidly deploy the next generation of
resilient Missile Warning (MW), Tactical Intelligence,
Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR), and Environmental
Monitoring (EM) capabilities to deter attacks and provide critical
information to our warfighters to defeat our enemies in battle.

You'll not only architect, engineer, integrate, test, and deploy
these systems, but also identify areas requiring urgent mitigation
up front and early to develop this system with advanced technology
solutions.
You'll grow your skills by merging innovative engineering
methodologies and cross-disciplinary coordination to create
tomorrow's solutions.
You'll create the future of Remote Sensing in the Air Force!
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics, or
equivalent technical discipline and 2+ years of related
professional experience
Experience in large-scale space systems integration and systems
engineering on space vehicles, OPIR payloads, and TT&C
subsystems
Experience working on a space-related (space, ground, software,
hardware system) Major Defense Acquisition Program
Experience with the development of technical specifications,
interface control documents, integration plans and schedules, and
inter-service support agreements
Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program
management functions in support of design reviews and requirements
verification
Ability to identify, analyze, resolve technical risks and issues,
develop technical reports, and collaborate with government and
other stakeholders to implement recommended solutions
Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships
with government clients, Federally Funded Research and
Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates
to achieve program goals
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Highly motivated and dynamic work ethic with a strong desire to
contribute to the DoD mission
Secret clearance
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Experience with performing systems engineering, integration, and
test on space-based remote sensing systems
TS/SCI Clearance
Experience with using Model-Based Systems Engineering approach to
manage system definitions and technical baselines
Knowledge of DoD 5000.01/02
Knowledge of Agile Methodologies
Master's degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics, or
equivalent technical discipline
INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional certifications (ASEP, CSEP,
or ESEP)
Minimum Clearance Required to Start:
Secret

Salary Range:
$68,400.00 - $119,700.00
