We are seeking a senior level Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering expertise the Director of Modeling & Simulation Enterprise Engineering (M&S EE), who is responsible for chairing design reviews, establishing architecture and design standards, managing Enterprise Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and synchronizing modeling & simulation (M&S) and digital engineering transformation across the Agency. This position performs engineering duties to elicit stakeholder requirements and mission needs, defines functional requirements, drafts and reviews technical documents, supports technical reviews and participations in Agency Tiger Teams and Working Groups. The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $199,000 annually. Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

Responsibilities may include

• Perform systems engineering and translate requirements and interface with software engineering, hardware/software integration and data engineering disciplines across the system lifecycle.
• Participate in requirements, architecture and descriptive modeling activities and utilize tools such as IBM tool suites, (i.e. DOORS, NG, Rhapsody, Engineering Workflow Management).
• Perform requirements analysis, trade studies, technology refresh and insertion planning, and maturity assessments.
• Create a positive, collaborative working relationship with representatives and stakeholders from external organizations.
• Coordinate product and engineering plans, policies and procedures with stakeholders. Develop clear and concise briefings for senior leaders that convey complex ideas in relatable terms.
• Create solutions to and new and one-of-a-kind threat challenges and issues as they arise.
• Experience performing analysis, test, system engineering and M&S for one or more elements of the MDS is preferred, i.e. Patriot, THAAD, GMD, Sensors or C2. Required
  • Master's Degree from an ABET accredited
  • 12+ years of related experience
  • Must have the ability to obtain a Secret level clearance
