SME Team Lead - Space ElectroMagnetic Warfare (DoD) Apply Posted Aug 19, 2022 SME Team Lead - Space ElectroMagnetic Warfare (DoD): My client is seeking a Space ElectroMagnetic Warfare Team Lead to act as their lead SME. They are a specialized DoD company based in Colorado Springs working on some new exciting contracts supporting a number of different developments in the DoD Space. They support software, network engineering, and cloud based architecture DoD work for a number of different end customers. REQUIREMENTS: Master of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Business or related discipline from an accredited college or university , MCP (or equivalent), and/or Agile Certification (or equivalent). One year ofrelevanteducation may be substituted for one year of the required experience. LOCATION:Peterson Space Force Base JOB TYPE: Full-Time Salary (immediate opening) REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum16-18 yrs industry experience related to responsibilities. One year ofrelevantexperience may be substituted for each year of the required education.
• Must have 5+ years of Space Electromagnetic Warfare (SEW) Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience
• An additional 3+ years' experience operating or in support of (i.e. electromagnetic warfare, Joint operations planner, EW Intelligence, management, oversight, or operations), any SEW systems in military, commercial/civil, or academia
• Must have 2+ years of experience in Joint operations planning and developing/coordinating tasking orders, the concept of operations, special instructions, deployment orders, execution orders, etc.
• Experience working withHQ S-Staff Directorates, that operate in support of current and future SEW mission areas
• Advising/supporting acquisition/integration of future space electromagnetic warfare weapon systems, either upgrades or next-generation capabilities
• Independent work to accomplish tasks when needed.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint.

  • Responsible for the operational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of a multifaceted program.
  • Responsible for fiscal, operational, administrative, and human resources management of the program.
  • Provides day-to-day technical and professional guidance and leadership to the team.
  • Manages and mitigates program risk.
  • Responsible for writing and submitting Status Reports to the Program Manager and Contract Officer Representative.
  • Provide an analytical review of current and future SEW capabilities.
  • Prepare briefings and reports for Delta and Headquarters leadership.
