Join us and help people live healthier lives while doing your life's best work.(sm) Under the direction of the Operations Manager, this position provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Primary Responsibilities: Infusion RN is responsible for delivery of patient-centered care in an infusion outpatient setting, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Deliver advanced professional patient-centered care to adults diagnosed with a wide array of acute and chronic illnesses, including those receiving curative treatment, support for chronic disease Preparation, admixing of non-hazardous medications Collaborate with the infusion team and other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes Demonstrate proficiency in assessment skills, medication administration, pain management and other unit or initiative specific skills Confer with provider(s) and operations as it relates to patient care outcomes Document all patient care appropriately according to practice and regulatory requirements Collect patient's health data and analyze assessment data in determining patient problems Identify expected outcomes individualized to the patient Evaluate patient's progress toward attainment of outcomes Conduct appropriate and ongoing education, assisting the patient/significant others to obtain knowledge about illness, treatments and wellness behaviors Maintain confidentiality with all information Perform all other duties as assigned You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing Valid Colorado Nursing License BLS, through the American Heart Association 1+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse Proven excellent IV skills, PICC line experience and venipuncture Demonstrate knowledge of current computer systems, equipment or programs used in the organization Fluency in the English language to function in job environment appropriately Proven ability to work autonomously Proven ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served Proven excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and customer service skills Proven solid organizational, problem solving and follow through skills Proven efficiency reacting to emergent situations Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. Colorado Residents Only: The hourly range for Colorado residents is $27.07 to $53.08.
