Under the direction of the Operations Manager, this position provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Infusion RN is responsible for delivery of patient-centered care in an infusion outpatient setting, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Deliver advanced professional patient-centered care to adults diagnosed with a wide array of acute and chronic illnesses, including those receiving curative treatment, support for chronic disease
• Preparation, admixing of non-hazardous medications
• Collaborate with the infusion team and other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes
• Demonstrate proficiency in assessment skills, medication administration, pain management and other unit or initiative specific skills
• Confer with provider(s) and operations as it relates to patient care outcomes
• Document all patient care appropriately according to practice and regulatory requirements
• Collect patient's health data and analyze assessment data in determining patient problems
• Identify expected outcomes individualized to the patient
• Evaluate patient's progress toward attainment of outcomes
• Conduct appropriate and ongoing education, assisting the patient/significant others to obtain knowledge about illness, treatments and wellness behaviors
• Maintain confidentiality with all information

  Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Valid Colorado Nursing License
  • BLS, through the American Heart Association
  • 1+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Proven e xcellent IV skills, PICC line experience and venipuncture
  • Demonstrate knowledge of current computer systems, equipment or programs used in the organization
  • Fluency in the English language to function in job environment appropriately
  • Proven ability to work autonomously
  • Proven ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served
  • Proven excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
  • Proven solid organizational, problem solving and follow through skills
  • Proven efficiency reacting to emergent situations

    • BSN
    • ACLS within 6 months of start date

      Colorado Residents Only: The hourly range for Colorado residents is $27.07 to $53.08.
