Description
SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer Lead to provide support to the
Space Test and Readiness Command's National Space Test and Training
Complex program office in Colorado Springs, CO .
The following represents a general overview of duties and
responsibilities:
Provide operational support/leadership to capabilities and system
development, test, training and exercises, and transition.
Responsible for interfacing with all program offices within the
USSF Integrated Program Office (IPO) to collect training and
exercise requirements and facilitate their documentation for
prioritization by the Government
Provide space systems engineering support to Space Test and
Readiness Command National Space Test and Training Complex (NSTTC)
Electronic Warfare (EW) Mission Area Team, Digital Enterprise Team,
On-Orbit Area Team, Cyber Area Team, and Advanced Programs
Team.
Provide technical analysis and shaping development of the NSTTC
architecture across digital, orbital, EW, and cyber domain
ranges.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in a technical field of study or related field with
14+ years of related experience.
Experience in Space Operations from the tactical unit level to
operational and strategic MAJCOMs and CCMDs.
Experience providing operational support/leadership to capabilities
and system development, test, training and exercises, and
transition.
Completed PMI bootcamps in Project Mgmt, Agile, DevOps, & Systems
Engineering principles & methodologies.
Experience in PC (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & Security Manager
applications (JPAS, DISS, JADE).
Highly skilled in mission planning, operational and technical
analysis, and employment of Space missions.
Direct space operational support experience in Missile Warning,
Battlespace Awareness, Missile Defense, Space Electronic Warfare,
and other non-kinetic mission sets.
Highly skilled exercise planner with significant knowledge of
adversary space/ground threat capabilities/employment.
Experience in DoD space training and exercise support requirements,
processes, and products.
Skilled security practitioner with program manager experience at
the collateral, TS, SCI, and SAP levels.
Highly proficient in supporting non-kinetic effects operations and
planning for tactical and strategic objectives.
Must have a current background investigation commensurate with Top
Secret security clearance and adjudicated for SCI access (consent
to a counter-intelligence polygraph examination).
Desired Qualifications:
Target salary range: $175,001 - $185,000. The estimate displayed
represents the typical salary range for this position based on
experience and other factors.
