  This position performs direct and indirect patient care in collaboration with RN or Physician. Assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating and collaborating with the team to meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient. Orders, receives and stocks supplies for the department/unit. Assists support staff with filing, medical records and daily tasks as assigned.
  What is Enterprise Pool?We have reimagined our contingent staffing plan with a new Enterprise Resource Pool that offers many options for flexibility, variety, and career growth, while supporting our collective mission to deliver outstanding whole-person care to our flourishing communities. The Centura Enterprise Resource Pool consists of both clinical and allied roles that flex or float throughout the Centura system. Associates within the Enterprise Pool will have the opportunity to float to multiple units within one facility, a geographic group of facilities, or to all of our facilities. This pool will provide additional resources to support and supplement the workload and staffing needs across the system.
  Facility-based Enterprise Pool
  • Base rate + $1.50/Hr. Pool Differential + eligible stacking differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.
  • Assigned to one facility (Penrose or St. Francis) but will float to at least 2 cost centers/units within the facility.
    Regional Enterprise Pool
    • Base rate + $3.00/Hr. Pool Differential + eligible stacking differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.
    • Assigned to one of four zones. Zone is determined based on your home location. Must be able to travel to the 4 hospitals assigned within that zone.What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
      • One year healthcare experience (pre-hospital, ED and/or patient care) preferred
      • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
      • Basic computer skills
      • High School Diploma or GED required
      • Current Colorado Emergency Medical Technician-Basic or A-EMT or EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic license required
      • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for HealthCare Providers certification required from American Heart Association required
      • IV certification required upon hirePhysical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)Your Connected Community:When people and places align, incredible things happen.
