Job Description:
Company Profile JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical
support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force and
Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better
known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic,
integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's
war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's
missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
JOB SUMMARY
-- Essential Functions/Duties A Field Engineer Lead serves as an
expert staff contributor or project lead for a broad program
involving technology applications related to installation and
testing of complex electronic systems and subsystems and performs
in a lead or supervisory role for project engineers/technicians.
Employee will be responsible to perform the following
functions/duties:
Contribute to development of test objectives, instrumentation, and
data requirements, writing test planning documents, scheduling
program activities, tracking funding and expenditures, and planning
and conducting test missions
Direct interface and liaison with customers at all levels from
quotation to final design and test activities, design reviews, and
technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and
specifications
Apply comprehensive knowledge of design specifications on more
complex systems/projects
Coordinate and work closely with other engineering, logistics,
financial, and program management disciplines to define system
specifications and requirements
Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test
procedures
Prepare, deliver, and submit technical papers and perform
engineering studies
Support development of technical proposals and provide comments on
technical content and level of effort of the proposed scope of
work
Contribute subject matter expert knowledge on the most complex
technology applications problems
Maintain technical project responsibility for assigned tasks and
advise management of progress in support of the technical and
administrative direction of project operations
Conduct site visits, experimental investigations, and analyze
engineering problems, propose solutions and alternatives, and
provide recommendations
Develop, interpret, and implement technical and administrative
operating policies and procedures
Perform other job-related duties, as required. Other
Responsibilities Each employee must read, understand, and implement

environmental requirements of all plans, procedures, and policies
pertaining to their job. Working Conditions Work is performed in a
typical office environment with no unusual hazards. Occasional
lifting (up to 20 pounds), constant sitting and use of a computer
terminal; constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing,
and editing documents; constant use of speech/hearing abilities for
communication; and constant mental alertness are required. Travel
to remote company work locations may be required. Requirements --
Education, Technical, and Work Experience An associate's degree in
engineering or other technical discipline, or formal
academic/vocational/military training and a minimum of 15 years of
experience in the field of specialty are required for this
position. In addition, a Field Engineer Lead must possess the
following qualifications:
Mastery of concepts, principles, and practices of electronics
systems to provide consultative services on major development
programs
Working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software
application programs
Well-developed leadership skills
Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to
problems from a broad prospective
Excellent communication and analytical skills

employment. SALARY The expected pay range for this position is 103K
to 159K The salary range offered for this position is a good faith
description of the expected salary range this role will pay. JT4
LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities
of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training,
key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business
