Job Description:
Position Description Air Force (AF) Tactical Exploitation of
National Capabilities (TENCAP) is a congressionally mandated
program which increases warfighter effectiveness through the
exploitation of national capabilities and promotes cross-domain
integration of these capabilities into military
operations/training, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance
(ISR) activities. AF TENCAP projects can influence the design and
operation of future air, space, cyber, national, and global ISR and
non-traditional ISR (NTISR) while providing awareness to
warfighters and national intelligence agency organizations and
units. TENCAP Information Technology (IT) requires services in
support of the numerous and diverse classified and unclassified
systems, networks, exercises, and developmental missions within the
TENCAP work center, provides systems engineering, computer systems
support, IT engineering, hardware operating systems, peripheral
(HOSP) maintenance, video teleconferencing support, communications
security (COMSEC), and audio/visual services to all units. IT is
integral to the entire AF TENCAP mission. As a Journeyman Computer
Network Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the
following activities: * Ensure overall security, integrity, and
operations of information systems and networks IAW AFI 33-115,
AFMAN 33-283, AFI 16-1405, AFMAN 33-152 and local policies and
procedures and provide support in connecting IS/IT systems with
other agencies. * Disconnect, move and connect equipment to
networks; install, configure, and maintain IS/IS systems; analyze,
troubleshoot, and resolve software, hardware, and network
anomalies; operate and maintain computer facilities, to include all
current IT system hardware and software as well as new hardware and
software specified by the customer and added to networks during the
course of the contract. * Configure, install, identify, assess,
mitigate, and report network vulnerabilities; and troubleshoot and
restore systems to normal operating conditions in minimal time. *
Provide network administration and technical support, to include
address and machine/domain name management,
interfacing/coordinating with external agencies on WAN (and other
long-haul communications links) issues and troubleshooting
problems. This position will be located at the Government workspace
in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Qualifications To be successful in
this role, you must have the following: * IAT Level II
certification * Associate degree or equivalent experience *
Advanced networking certification * 3-5 years'' experience in
network support and administration * TOP SECRET Security Clearance

upon contract award. In compliance with Colorado''s Equal Pay for
Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $ 63,232.14 to $
105,386.90 ; however, Serco considers several factors when
