Tier II Network AdministratorKey Role:Analyze, administer, and support voice, video, and data communications networks. Manage the Enterprise Network for resource availability. Process Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI's) as directed by management. Provide After Action Reports (AARs) for Problem Management resolution. Evaluate hardware and software, including peripheral and output equipment.Participate in and lead aspects of major network installations and upgrades. Provide advice and training to end-users.Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with programming and troubleshooting KG-175A and KG-175D encryptors to include 10G encryptors
• Experience monitoring and configurating crypto equipment
• Experience with both LAN and WAN troubleshooting and network troubleshooting techniques
• Experience with WAN circuit technologies (T1, DS3, OC-3, OC-12, OC-192)
• Knowledge of operating systems and applications as they pertain to the network environment
• Knowledge of Cisco and Juniper routers and switches
• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve operating and hardware network system problems
• Ability to ensure compliance with network security policies and procedures
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience with Network Administration, Associate's degree and 6+ years of experience with Network Administration, Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience with Network Administration, Master's degree and 2+ years of experience with Network Administration, or Doctorate degree and 1+ years of experience with Network AdministrationAdditional Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of critical vs non-critical requirements
  • Knowledge of system trade studies
  • Ability to present complex issues in clearly written language
  • Ability to use diagrams, tables, or figures to improve the presentation of technical material, and ensure key business issues are addressed consistent with the organization's goals and objectives
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and utilize problem-solving skills under pressure
