Description:Mount St. Francis Nursing Center is a non-profit ministry providing long term care to persons of all faiths. Beauty, peace, and serenity cradle our campus located in the heart of the Colorado Springs foothills. We are looking for kind and compassionate healthcare professionals to join our exceptional team!Under the direction of the Nutrition Supervisor, Nutrition Aides work as a team and are responsible for:Set-up tables, service of meals, and clean-up of dining area for the residents.Prepare dining room, set and buss tables, clean salt and pepper shakers.Ensure food is hot and plates are attractively assembled.Prepare sandwiches, soups, and beverages in the galley.Apportion food servings in accordance with dietary lists.Collect dishes, trays and trash, clean and disinfect work areas, tables, and cabinets.Prepare room trays, as needed and assure snacks are available and galley cabinets are appropriately stocked.Requirements:Must be at least 18 years of ageMust be dependable in attendanceAbility to stand and walk frequentlyAbility to regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, and push/pull carts of dishes.Experience working in healthcare food service is helpful but not required.Schedule: The full-time position will work 30 - 38 hours per week, Schedules are 5 days per week, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, or 2:00 PM to 8:30 PM to include some weekends and holidays.
