Grumman's Space Systems Sector is seeking applicants for a position
on the Sustainment and Modernization of Radar Sensors (SMORS)
program as a Senior Principal Engineer Systems. This position will
focus on Agile development activities for the Ballistic Missile
Early Warning System (BMEWS) Precision Acquisition Vehicle Entry
(PAVE) Phased Array Warning System (PAWS) (BPP) as a Product Owner.
This position will be located in Colorado Springs, CO, and some
travel may be required.What You'll Get to Do:
- Play an active, leading role in the implementation of
supportability and new capability updates to the BPP
- Support system requirements reviews and creating and/or
updating requirement specifications and technical
documentation
- Generate, review, and update systems engineering documentation
and collaborate with radar subject matter experts to ensure
specifications meet system needs and are accurate, comprehensive,
consistent and complete
- Provide innovative solutions to complex technical problemsWhat

creative ideasBasic Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
with 9 years of engineering experience; or 7 years' experience with
a Master's degree; or 4 years with PhD.
- Interim DoD Secret clearance
- Familiarity or experience with Agile software development
methodologies, i.e. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe
- Experience performing product owner/business analyst
activities
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite: Jira, confluence, and
Crucible Fisheye
- Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering
- Familiarity with MS Office suite of tools (i.e. Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Project)Preferred Qualifications:
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Experience with Dev/Ops
- Experience with software development
- Experience in using a requirements management tool, such as
DOORS
- Familiarity with the Ballistic Missile Early Warning System
(BMEWS) Precision Acquisition Vehicle Entry (PAVE) Phased Array
Warning System (PAWS) (BPP) or other ground-based radars such as
the Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System
(PARCS) Salary Range: $117,900 USD - $176,900 USD Employees may be
eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual
bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as
allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice
President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
