Position Summary

Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Security Lead supporting the Satellite Control Network (SCN) within Space Systems Command (SSC) Battle Management Command, Control, & Communications Sustainment (BCS) division in its mission to sustain and modernize the SCN and provide highly reliable telemetry, tracking, command, communication and control (TT&C3) for more than 170 Department of Defense (DoD), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), civil and allied satellites.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

As the Security Lead you will build oral and written presentations for high ranking security management leaders to performing complex analyses.
You shall have an understanding of SCN mission critical aspects of Government risk management and DoD space programs and projects.
You shall perform all functional duties, as the security lead and require no immediate training.
You shall have appropriate certifications and easily transition between requirements without the need for Government oversight.
You shall have deep knowledge of Higher Headquarters, Air and Space Force, Space Command, processes and procedures as it relates to their functional responsibility and speak and write Air and Space Force and Space Acquisition terminology appropriately.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Clearance: Must have an active TS with SCI

Education: BA or BS in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Programming, Forensics, Database Management, Computer Hardware Engineering, Network Administration, Cloud Computing, Information Technology, Information Security & Assurance, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, and Engineering Management.

Years of Experience: Minimum five (5) years relevant experience performing security activities in the Government

(military and/or civil servant), federally funded research and development center, or profit or non-profit Government support or development Contractor arena.

Minimum three (3) years of experience providing a security lead role for a relevant effort with Security certification.
Experience shall include duties or assignments specifically in support of: Duties or assignments specifically in support of space acquisition programs planning, documenting, and resolving security issues on an Acquisition Category III level ground system software and hardware program.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the use of an electronic Government authorized information management system, collaboration portal, or integrated data environment (IDE).

Additional Information:

Duty location is in Colorado Springs, CO
Occasional travel within the CONUS

Please note: Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as the Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
