The salary range for this role, based in California is $71,600 to $107,400 and in Colorado is $71,600 to $107,400, range will vary if outside of these locations. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate's experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

The Brand Ambassador, American Whiskey, will play an essential role in the growth of PRUSA American Whiskey Collective (AWC) brands and continuing PRUSA's presence as an industry leader. They will serve as the product and category expert for the AWC, leading educational efforts, building partnerships with industry influencers and emerging talent, and leveraging existing relationships to drive awareness, loyalty, and conversion among the gatekeepers in the on/off trade. Working with brand, field, and cross-functional teams, and in collaboration with your key markets, you will play a critical role in the progression of the brand, providing key inputs as to how to deliver AWC's vision within a designated geography.

* Brands: Jefferson's Bourbon (40%), Rabbit Hole (30%), Smooth Ambler (20%), TX (10%)

* Audience: Gatekeepers of the trade - on/off-premise trade, distributor, PRUSA field teams

* Channels: On-premise independent accounts, on-premise national accounts, off-premise chains, trade groups, and trade events

Field Program Execution

* Execute KPIs centered around driving awareness, loyalty, & conversion in designated channels. KPIs include on/off trade education, trade events, trade group engagement, & distributor engagement

* Responsible for executing omni-channel programming based off brand and divisional priorities, and as directed by quarterly Trade Advocacy Guide

* Work with division team leads on account list development in designated focus markets (based on framework provided by HQ)

* Distributor engagement - build strong relationship with local distributor & PRUSA sales teams. Prepare presentations at all relevant GSMs and/or sales meetings to drive brand initiatives and education

* Maintain commercial knowledge - while this role will not be KPI'd on NNS growth, this role should take the initiative to understand NNS growth/opportunity in designated account list

* Educate on cocktail strategy to support brand message, emphasize quality, and drive velocity

Trade Advocacy, Education & Events

* Be a leader within the local trade community: develop strong relationship & cadence when activating with relevant local trade groups and thought leaders (ie: USBG)

* Proactively plan and host innovative programming for the trade designed to educate, sample, and build affinity and loyalty for designated brands in market

* Act as the consummate host and/or keynote speaker for high-profile trade events within division

Admin Responsibilities

* KPI tracking through LilyPad

* Expenses - submitting expenses on time, planning & managing budget set forth by mgmt team

* Recapping - BA will recap their programs & competitive intel on a monthly basis


* Regular meetings with the HQ team to share competitive insights and trends to inform programming

* Assist with drink strategy when needed

* Have a strong social media presence and lead thinking around digital amplification, content development and execution for programming and during key periods.

* Requires a minimum of 2-4 years general work experience; minimum 2-4 years US Spirits experience.

* Solid team leader

* Strong spirits knowledge - must have experience with spirits & a strong understanding of the spirits categories & production process

* Hospitality Background - strong sense for being a memorable & thoughtful host when interacting with the trade.

* Trade Network - ideally the candidate would have an established network in the spirits industry

* Social Media Presence - the ideal candidate will have an active and well thought-out social media presence with an understanding of how to create, share, and engage with content

* Ability to travel up to 60-70%
