Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Brief Description:IR Signature Modeling Engineer to support Threat Products and Services (TPS) on the SWDC Program at Schriever SFB, CO.Complete Description:Threat Products and Services (TPS) is responsible for the development and delivery of high fidelity threat modeling products in support of MDA and MDA's Ballistic Missile Defense System. This position requires a detail-oriented mid-level engineer responsible for developing high fidelity signature data packages for use in a variety of modeling and simulation tools and media. Must have a good understanding of modeling and simulation methods and processes. Must be able to apply standard engineering and mathematical algorithms to ensure the accurate portrayal of expected phenomenology characteristics during a missiles flight. The selected individual must be able to work with little or no direct supervision, works as an integral member of a product delivery team, and meet time critical delivery schedules.Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Aeronautics, Physics, or Math
• Experience: 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.
• Background in infrared signature modeling.
• Strong knowledge of the flight characteristics, motion, and performance of ballistic missiles is required.
• Result focused, work well within a dynamic environment, self-motivated, able to work in a team environment, and able to produce reliable products and documentation within established deadline
• Good attention to detail
• This position requires an active DoD Secret clearance to start, and be able to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance with access to SCIPreferred Requirements:
  • Modeling, simulation, and automation experience with a strong math, physics or engineering background is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the flight characteristics, motion, atmospheric dynamics, and missile performance parameters necessary to model ballistic missiles is highly desired.
  • Knowledge and experience with hypersonic phenomenology
  • Experience with scripting languages, such as python, bash, or matlab, and to analyze and plot large data sets is also preferred. Salary Range: $92,200 USD - $138,400 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
