You will be a key contributor in forming the team s technical strategy and aligning the team and partners with it. You'll initiate large projects with sophisticated architecture, breaking them down to logical modules so that other engineers can be utilized. Working frequently with other teams, you will coordinate significant changes to cross-system architectures, influencing upstream or downstream for the most efficient solutions. We are looking for self-starters with a passion for technology who want to help us impact millions of merchant s lives one transaction at a time.Basic Qualifications for consideration:Computer Science degree or equivalent work experienceExperience in designing, analyzing, scaling and fixing large-scale distributed systemsAutomating world class platform solutions with programming languages such as Java, Go, Python, or Ruby5 years of troubleshooting and securing a Linux (preferably CentOS or RHEL) environmentUnderstands the TCP/IP Model and can effectively debug networking issues with mTLSExperience with a variety of Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP)Regularly deploy secure infrastructure and can automate security concerns such as certificate or identity management problemsWillingness to be part of on-call rotations and mitigate issuesExperience with large scale OLTP and OLAP deployments5+ years solving platform management problems in the following areas:Cloud Management: Terraform, Pulumi, or Cloud FormationConfiguration Management Tools: Puppet, Ansible, or ChefIdentity Management: EJBCA, Forgerock, or other solutionKubernetes: Openshift and/or Cloud Native Solution (AWS, GCP)Load Balancers: HA Proxy, F5, or Cloud Native Solution (AWS, GCP)Monitoring: Telegraf, DataDog, Wavefront, or PrometheusSQL Databases: CloudSQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQLSecurity Management Tools: Venafi, Vault, and/or Cloud Native Solution (AWS, GCP)Service Mesh: HA Proxy, Istio, or ConsulProven track record of being a problem solver that can master quickly any of the above areas if you do not possess some of these skills5+ years in a startup environment
