seeking applicants for a Systems Testing Engineer to work on the
Sustainment and Modernization of Radar Sensors (SMORS) program as
an Associate Engineer Systems Test. This position will serve as a
Test Engineer focused on the Ballistic Missile Early Warning System
(BMEWS) Precision Acquisition Vehicle Entry (PAVE) Phased Array
Warning System (PAWS) (BPP).This position will be located in
Colorado Springs, CO. (Remote work is not available). What You'll
Get to Do:
- Work under the guidance of more experience test and sites
personnel
- Support the development of system test solutions in accordance
with project technical, schedule and cost constraints
- Prepare and execute comprehensive system/element level test
plans, procedures and test events
- Participate in system/element level test planning and test
readiness reviews
- Participate in integrated testing activities and resolving
conflicts for competing systems
- Document test requirements and methodologies in the
requirements management system
- Review system engineering documentation to ensure test plans
and methodologies meet system needs and are accurate,
comprehensive, consistent and complete
- Support the development of system integration plans, procedures
and scenarios used in the conduct of software/hardware system
integration testing
- Participate in engineering peer reviews as a document
originator or reviewer to ensure technical quality and engineering
rigor is appropriate
- Participate in project technical risk analysis and mitigation
Basic Qualifications: .
- Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering or
mathematics (STEM) discipline with 2 years of systems or test
engineering experience; or 0 years of experience with a Master's
degree in STEM related discipline.
- Must have U.S. Citizenship with an active or current a Secret
clearance
- Experience in using a requirements management tool, such as
DOORS
- Experience in with Unix/Linux operating systems
- Experience in using a discrepancy management tool, such as
Jira, Bugzilla, etc.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time Preferred
Qualifications:
- Current or active Secret clearance
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodology
- Familiarity with ground-based radars such as PARCS and/or the
Ballistic Missile Early Warning System (BMEWS) Precision
Acquisition Vehicle Entry (PAVE) Phased Array Warning System (PAWS)
(BPP)
- Experience with test automation
- Experience in writing scripts using scripting languages such as
Korn Shell, Bourne Shell, Python, Perl, bash, tcl, etc.
- Familiarity with MS Office suite of tools (i.e. Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Project)
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced, team oriented
environment
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Self-starter - efficient in achieving goals and proactive in
pursuing subsequent tasks
- Familiarity with MS Office suite of tools (i.e., Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Project)

$102,100 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in
addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
