Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.The Specialized Warfighter Development Contract (SWDC) Threat Products and Services (TPS) teamat Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as aEngineer Systems Test supporting out software test team for work located at Schriever Air Force Base,Colorado Springs, Colorado.What You'll Get to Do:The Threat Products and Services (TPS) is responsible for development of high-fidelity, intel crediblemodels and simulations used to stimulate element models of the Ballistic Missile Defense System, including kinematic missile modeling, IR signature modeling, data production/analysis activities, and maintenance/ sustainment activities for the entire TPS software baseline. The TPS Engineering Team is responsible for the design, development, integration, test, and deployment of multiple software suites to both internaland external users of the software to accomplish the M&S mission of the TPS byemploying Agile Software Development methodologies. The TPS is a cornerstone element tothe Specialized Warfighter Development Contract (SWDC) Engineering Directorate (DE)Task Order. This is a technically focused model and simulation application andautomation testing position.Key activities:

  • Development and execution of system level test plans and reports
  • Development and execution of application-level test plans and reports
  • Development and creation of the test automation suite
  • Requirement's decompositionQualificationsBasic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's and 5 years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
    • Understanding of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle
    • Familiarity with software development testing methodologies
    • Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies
    • Modeling and simulation experience
    • Experience with Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence)
    • Experience with test automation suites
    • Experience with Eggplant test automation tools
    • Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
    • Self-motivated, able to work in a dynamic team environment
    • Possess good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Active Full DoD Secret clearancePreferred Qualifications:
      • ASTQB Certification
      • Knowledge of coding languages
      • Two or more years of experience as a software tester
      • Strong math, physics, or engineering background
      • Knowledge of coding languages
      • Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret Clearance Salary Range: $68,100 USD - $102,100 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
