making history.Provide mission operations support to a Northrop
Grumman Space Satellite program. Work with systems engineers to
develop operational documentation for use during on-orbit checkout,
commissioning, and long term operation of satellites. Create
executable scripts and associated procedures. Conduct testing using
simulators and resolve discrepancies. Support system development
activities such as requirements management, architecture
development, integration and test and formal program milestones.
Interface with program and customer personnel. Act as Flight
Controller during mission rehearsals, on orbit check out, and long
term operations. Demonstrate an understanding of spacecraft systems
and space vehicle operations. Monitor vehicle state of health
across all subsystems. Perform short and long-term telemetry
trending. Tracks space vehicle configuration, to include both
hardware, software, and configurable item parameters. Make
modifications to existing operations procedures to incorporate
lessons learned from in-flight performance. Develop new procedures
as required. Verify spacecraft commands before they are sent to the
vehicle. Shift work required.Basic Qualifications: A candidate,
regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below
criteria. The candidate must:--- Be completing or has completed
their degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) from an accredited
institution.--- Be majoring in or having majored in STEM degree---
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial
academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by
uploading the documents to your application or profile)--- Be able
to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance
(U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)Preferred Qualifications: ---
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.7/4.0 or higher--- Prior
experience conducting on-orbit mission operations--- Existing
TS/SCI U.S. Government Security ClearanceCampusjobsEmployees may be
