experienced Mid-level Requirements Engineer (Space Systems) to join
our team in Colorado Springs, CO! Become part of our team where we
will partner with our client and the United States Space Force
(USSF) to be the lead systems integrator for delivering the next
generation of Missile Warning (MW), Tactical Intelligence,
Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR), and Environmental
Monitoring (EM) capabilities. We will assist the US Space Force
(USSF) in developing, deploying, and integrating remote sensing
space and ground processing systems as part of the Remote Sensing
(RS) Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) team.Together,

battle. The Mid-level Requirements Engineer (Space Systems) will be
responsible for the following but not limited to: Support MAJCOM
and COCOM working groups to define Concept of Operations (CONOPS)
and Capabilities Based Requirements Documents (CBRD) [Initial
Capability Document (ICD), Capability Development Document (CDD),
and Capability Production Document (CPD)], traceable to
architectures and preliminary technical requirements
documents.Provide expertise in a variety of tool environments such
as Microsoft Office Suite, Requirements and Architecture
Management, Agile, DevSecOps, JIRA, and other leading industry
product lines. Support a variety or stakeholder definition working
groups and agile processes. Perform requirement and capability need
assessments and gap analysis Support the Government to perform
capabilities-based assessments or other analyses on capability
requirements and associated capability gaps and risks by analyzing
architecture views to identify mission gaps. Support acquisition
planning to include development of the request for proposal
required documents and evaluation of contractor proposal
documents.Support detailed operational threads, use cases, and role
specific verb-based activity diagrams to support development of the
system/segment/component requirement documents, test, and mission
assurance.Ensure that system resiliency requirements are included
in new program requirements and architecture to increase the
ability of the system to respond effectively to adversary actions
in a contested environment.Derive threshold requirements from the
Key Performance Parameters and Key System Attributes included in
the Initial Capabilities Document or Capability Development
Document.Perform requirements management to ensure bidirectional
traceability of requirements for Government and program system
specifications and Interface Control Documents. Document any
requirement discrepancies or disconnects, and recommend solutions,
mitigations, alternatives, or corrective actions.Support the
implementation of the Agile Program Management and Development
process.Utilize any analysis or visualization tools which integrate
data from DE reference models to support use case and user story
development and system definition risk reduction. Support the
development of feature groups and user stories for agile software
development programs.Required Qualification:Active SECRET Security
ClearanceBachelor's Degree and five (5+) years of experience;
Master's Degree and three (3+) years of experience; PhD and no
years of experience; High School Diploma/GED and eight (8+) years
of experience in systems engineering related or equivalent
experienceDegree field should be in Engineering, Mathematics,
Physics, or equivalent technical disciplines Five (5) years of
experience with MS Projectin a technical fieldExpertise in variety
of tool environments such as Microsoft Office Suite, Requirements
and Architecture Management, Agile, DevSecOps, JIRA, and other
leading industry product linesDemonstrated understanding of Space
Systems in order to integrate both big picture system of systems
thinking and product items with Space Segments, Ground Segments and
User System ArchitecturesRequirements Engineering experience to
include elicitation and managementExperience in DoD acquisition (or
similar) and program management processesExcellent interpersonal,
leadership, team building and problem-solving skillsAbility to
provide a collaborative approach to work with users, scrum masters,
system architects, development contractors, and other stakeholders
to elicit, define, communicate, and manage needs, requirements, and
visions that will define the next generation of MW, TISR, and EM
systemsDesired Qualifications: Active TS/SCI Security
ClearanceBachelor's Degree and seven (7) years of experience;
Master's Degree and five (5) years of experience; PhD and two (2)
years of experience; High School Diploma/GED and 11 years of
experience in systems engineering related or equivalent
experienceINCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional
(CSEP)DOORS DXLObject Management Group Certified Systems Modeling
Professional (OCSMP) Advanced Certification or equivalent
certification approved by the GovernmentExperience with USSF
customer and Missile Warning, Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance,
and Reconnaissance and Environmental Monitoring
programsUnderstanding of Universal Command and Control Interface
(UCI) standard for current and future space systemsAgile

Minimum: $64,900Colorado Salary Maximum: $157,300The estimate
displayed represents the typical salary range for this position,
and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package
