Job Description:

We are actively seeking skilled, compassionate, and motivated Schedulers to join our dynamic team. Our Schedulers are responsible for coordinating and scheduling routine patient procedures as well as complicated surgeries, as ordered by the physician. They advise patients on preparation requirements and responsibilities and answer patient questions. Job Requirements:What do you do?

• Accommodate scheduling needs of existing patients, including scheduling future appointments and addressing schedule changes
• Performing patient centered scheduling duties, utilizing the scheduling system
• Providing exceptional customer service to patients while scheduling appointments
• Communicates procedure information and patient instructions appropriately and timely, including financial obligations.
• Communicates with providers and assistants regarding scheduling and pertinent educational materials.--
• Send provider orders to surgery centers as required.--
• Schedule procedures within established block times with affiliated hospitals, as requested by provider.
• Manages cancellations/re-schedules and communicates changes and concerns timely and appropriately.---- What do you need to be?

  • Tech savvy What do you need to have?
    • 1 year of experience customer service
    • Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT Coding and knowledge of medical terminology preferred What do we provide?
