Occupational Therapist Traveler - Printers Park / Memorial
Hospital Central, Colorado Springs, COPrinter's Park Medical
Plaza Adult Rehabilitation is a large multi-disciplinary clinic
with physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy
provided on site. Due to physician growth within UCHealth, we're
currently looking for an OT/CHT for 4 months of coverage (4 months)
with the possibility to transition into a full time position.
Strongly Preferred: Certified Hand Therapist
Tues, Weds, Thurs, Fri - 0730-1800
Valid Colorado OT license. Acute care Rehab experience
• Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of
• Establishes a plan of care which is appropriate to problems
identified and involves the patient/family according to their
capabilities and desires.
• Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services
and treatment setting.
• Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of
adaptive equipment and support programs. Supervises and delegates
the care provided by certified occupational therapy assistants and
therapy technicians according to established licensing laws, state
regulations and practice standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy. Preferred: Master's
degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current licensure with Colorado Department of Regulatory
Agencies to practice Occupational Therapy. Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Two years recent/current/like experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red
Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before
start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of
hire. All life support certification cards must be issued by either
the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for
the Professional Rescuer. (American Red Cross for the Professional
Rescuer is only good upon hire and all renewals will need to be
through an American Heart Association sanctioned course.)
Due to Point of Care Testing duties associated with this position,
upon hire, a copy of highest level of education (diploma, degree,
or transcripts) would be required to present to the hiring manager.

This position's pay is: $37.00/hour + travel stipend/package. An
annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon
organizational and individual performance.
