Modern Marketing & Commerce is a Sales Optimization company working with Manufacturing and Distribution companies in Building Products / Construction, Healthcare and Retail. Many of MMC’s clients are industry leaders, tapping MMC’s sales and marketing expertise to design and execute growth strategies.

 

To support our growth, MMC is looking for an experienced and self-motivated Account Director to work directly with our clients playing a key leadership role by providing innovative thinking and vision while cultivating meaningful, long-term relationships.

 

Experience in marketing, sales, or business development within the building products channel is a plus.

 

The Role

  • Works closely with our customers, anticipating their needs and giving high priority to customer satisfaction.
  • Assists in setting the direction, leading tactical planning of the account strategy, customer journey mapping, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborates across departments to ensure the smooth running of all accounts under management.
  • Offers creative multi-channel, multi-touch digital and direct marketing strategies.

  • Effective at conducting high-stakes conversations (e.g., communicating positive or negative campaign results to client).
  • Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills, paying close attention to the details.

Education:  

BS/BA degree (Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields preferred).

 

Other Requirements:

At least three-five (3-5) years of direct experience in marketing communications, channel marketing or Account marketing.

Experience in a data-centric direct marketing function or organization (e.g., Consultancy, Agency, or marketing role in a B2B2C company). 

At least three-five (3-5) years of experience managing a staff supporting direct marketing Accounts.

Experience with sourcing materials, customer segmentation, managing workflows and strategies strongly preferred.
