Job Description:

Responsible for managing the cost, schedule, execution, and technical performance requirements of assigned WSARs through all phases, from inception to completion. Directs the preparation of proposals, proposal work statements, specifications, operating budget and contractual financial terms/conditions. Works with the sales/customers/dealers to determine/identify needs, requirements and new business opportunities. Works with Finance and Scheduling functions to plan and track progress. Organizes the activities ensuring completion of the product/project on schedule and within budget constraints. Ensures that products/projects delivered meet customer requirements and specifications. Works with risk management tools and tracking, and MS Project. Supports proposals and manpower forecasting/planning. Briefs senior management on status of assigned WSARs.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects through the program lifecycle using PMI methodologies with general oversight
  • Communicates within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures
  • Responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other employees.
  • Managing the creation of the Cost and Technical volumes for all new task orders
  • Maintain project schedule and budget
  • Prepare subcontractor statement of work
  • Risk management tools and tracking
  • Forecasting manpower and ODCs
  • Updating CRM and briefing senior management


  • An active Top-Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree with a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
  • 2+ years' experience with Earn Value Management (EVM)
  • 2+ year's working within cross functional team environment

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • SATCOM or Wireless/RF Communications Systems experience
  • Experience with system and/or subsystem integration
  • Familiarity with computer networks
  • Able to recommend enhancements to systems and processes
  • Ability to work under moderate to general supervision
  • Ability to adhere to a policy, procedures, standard work document, or well-established techniques to determine course of action

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $63,500 MIN - $118,500 MAX. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
