Our very busy uniform store is seeking a Retail Assistant
Manager to work closely with the Owner/Manager. Our store is
committed to providing our varied customers with individualized
service. This means that excellent customer service is a
requirement. It also means focus and follow-through are essential
to success. We are looking for someone interested in the uniform
industry and willing to learn more about. This position has lots of
growth potential.The successful candidate will be responsible for
day-to-day operations sometimes working independently and sometimes
as a team lead. The Retail Assistant Manager will work closely with
the Owner/Manager in retail operations, including inventory and
visual merchandising. A significant period of training in the point
of sale software (Uniform Solutions) and the unique procedures of
the store can be anticipated. If you are a detail-oriented

Responsibilities and Duties
Interact with the customers to assist in product selection and
Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional
Troubleshoot customer service issues when necessary
Maintain inventory by ordering through point of sale system.
Create business strategies to attract new customers, expand
store traffic, and enhance profitability.
Work with vendors and manufacturers
Check and respond to daily emails:
Constantly seek ways to control costs, enhance customer
experience, and improve procedures in the store.
Qualifications and skills
5+ years experience in retail operations, some of this in
Computer database and point of sale software experience
Proven leadership interest and abilities
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Willing to work a flexible schedule of days including Saturdays
and some holidays
Able to stand for an 8-hour shift
Able to lift 25 lbs.
Salary is negotiable. Pay will be on an hourly basis.
The store is presently open from 12 pm to 6 pm Mon-Sat.
This job is presently a part-time position. Approximately 30-35
hours per week.
