The Department of Human Physiology and Nutrition in the Helen
and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health
Sciences at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs will
establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers from which future
appointments to temporary, non-tenure track positions will be made.
Appointments are part-time (less than 50% time) and will be made
semester-by-semester. Temporary Lecturer appointments are not
eligible for group health and life insurance benefits or vacation
The position is responsible for teaching various courses for the
Department of Human Physiology and Nutrition. Specialties include
anatomy, physiology, nutrition, and exercise science.
The Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and
Health Sciences at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs is a

be exempt from (not eligible for) overtime under FLSA.

Salary Range: Pay dependent on number of courses taught.
Generally starting at $1,333 per credit hour

* Master's degree or higher in anatomy, physiology, nutrition,
exercise science or closely related area; OR a Master's degree or
higher in another field (i.e. education) with at least 18 graduate
credit hours in anatomy, physiology, nutrition, or exercise
* Previous college teaching experience. * Professional
certifications (e.g. CSCS, ACSM, RD).
