our team as a Sr. Principal Product Owner - Cyber RA based out of
Colorado Springs, CO.
What You'll get to Do:
- The Cyber RA Product Owner is responsible for applying an
interdisciplinary approach to plan, design, develop, validate, and
verify Cyber solutions across the Agile Execution lifecycle.
- The successful candidate will be expected to communicate and
work closely with Agile Leadership and Program Management in direct
support of the ISSM, System owners, Agile Release Trains (ARTs),
Operational ISSOs, Cyber peers, Program Office technical/management
staff, and other Functional Areas to ensure the fielded system
meets baselined ES requirements and associated Cybersecurity
- The Cyber RA Product Owner will plan, assign, status, and
manage all Agile tasks for each Iteration working directly with the
ART Release Train Engineer (RTE).
- The selected candidate is expected to assist with design
constraints, trade spaces, and detailed security design as they
pertain to the Cyber domain in collaboration across the Cyber
Engineering, Cyber Development, and Cyber Sustainment teams.
- Duties on an as-needed basis include: technical documentation,
threat-modeling, addressing supply chain management concerns,
engineering responses for system POA&Ms, proposal support, Cost
Account Management (CAM) interface, conducting risk analysis for
Risk Acceptance Requests (RARs), and providing Cyber expertise to
the program and Customer meetings.
If applicable, please note your updated security clearance and
IAT/relevant certifications on your resume.
- An active Secret clearance is required.
- 9 Years with Bachelor's degree in a related field; 13 years'
experience in lieu of a degree.
- Appropriate IAM Level III DoDI 8570 certification required.
Internal candidates with IAT Level II cert and the ability to
obtain IAM Level III cert within the 8570 prescribed guidelines
will be considered as well.
- The position requires a Security Engineering aptitude with a
working knowledge of Cybersecurity technology, NIST standards, STIG
configurations, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) Security
- The successful candidate must have experience in the Agile
Development Lifecycle to include generating requirements,
architecture design, development consult, conducting verification,
and performing vulnerability/compliance activities.
- Significant leadership experience and effective interpersonal
skills are required with a demonstrated ability to support complex
- Excellent technical document preparation and verbal
communication skills are required for presentation of technical
Cyber issues and reports to the Government, Program Management, and
other Product Team stake holders.
- The position requires a strong working knowledge of Cyber
capabilities such as patch management, multi-factor authentication,
host-based security, intrusion detection, security incident & event
management, active/passive system scanning, and defense-in-depth.
- Recent hands-on experience with Agile execution, tools, and
methodologies is highly preferred.
- Recent experience and familiarity with confidentiality,
integrity, and availability pertaining to implementing RMF and
STIGs on a mission system is required. Network design and software
engineering backgrounds are a plus. What We Can Offer You:

Salalry Min: $114,080
Salary Max: $171,120
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
