* Duties Help Duties Summary About the Position: This position is with the Evans Army Community Hospital, Health Information Technology Division located on Fort Carson, CO. HIT's mission is to integrate and protect the Rocky Mountain Tri-Service medical information network to deliver on the promise and partnership of quality, safe, and valued Warrior and Family centered care. Learn more about this agency Responsibilities * Provide supervision, guidance and coordination for the Core Technology Branch within Evans Army Community Hospital and underlying clinics.* Assist Chief Technical Officer (CTO) with planning and executing a wide range of highly complex IT needs in support of the CMHS multi service region.* Contribute in the design, management, utilization, operation and sustainment of a sophisticated physical and virtual operating environment and all its supporting devices.* Define and coordinate project requirements, plans/systems design, development, implementation and sustainment.* Plan and organize work to be accomplished, establishing priorities and monitoring progress in terms of timeliness and accuracy of work performed. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is described as: One year of demonstrated experience which includes: Leading IT professionals working with Information Technology Remedy Systems; supporting a Medical IT Department with interpreting IT Policies, Standards and Procedures to govern the Remedy Action Request System at the Tier I and Tier II level; ensuring resolution to trouble tickets, work orders, and advising management on system matters or the need for changes in existing policies and procedures. This type of work is performed in a hospital environment. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). in the federal service (GS-11).In addition to the specialized experience listed above; individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
