Job SummaryResponsible for the direction and management of the organization's Magnet Program. Works in collaboration with the nursing leadership team and Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to establish and evaluate a nursing professional practice model. Program coordination includes sustaining institutional Magnet designation by activities, structures and processes that promote an optimal work environment for professional nurses and interprofessional members, resulting in outstanding patient care outcomes. An understanding of the required standards and performance improvement strategies will be required. Strategies include assessment of workflow-related processes, research, criteria development, measurement, and evaluation. What You Bring/Job Requirements In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: Minimum Experience RequirementsMinimum of five (5) years of clinical nursing experience required. Three years as a clinical nurse in a leadership role or with project coordination experience. Previous experience in Magnet hospital preferred Education RequirementBachelor's Degree in Nursing License/Certifications Requirement Current CPR required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado.Professional certification required Physical Requirements Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally) Your Connected Community When people and places align, incredible things happen.
